As I mentioned on the Home page, Genealogical research can be expensive,
time consuming and frustrating.

There are plenty of individuals out there who say that they will help you but
when it comes to the crunch they want to charge you for the service. There is
nothing wrong with this because they are clearly treating it as a business
like any other, and everyone has to earn a living.

However from 'Joe Average's' point of view the case is usually that he is curious
about the history of his family but his available free time is insufficient, or his household
budget will not extend to spending money on something which on the face of it is a luxury.

There are many 'well-intentioned' free 'look-up' services available in this Country, however
these are normally specific to a particular County, City or Town, but due to the demands
placed against them are barely able to cope with the demand.

Basically, this is where we come into the equation.

Bearing in mind the difficulties that I have experienced with my own Genealogical
research, I decided that I would try to assist other people bearing these surnames who
are curious to know more, but lack the enthusiasm, means or knowledge to get started.

If your surname is or was Fenning or Fennings, or if an ancestor carried this surname,
or you believe that you have a genetic link with a family carrying either of these
surnames, or if you have at some time lost contact with your 'root' family, then
we will try to help you free of charge with your research, but we will only carry out
this work for families that live, or lived in the United Kingdom.
